(What you call " Guitare Normale " is in fact " Guitare Acoustique " in french and " Acoustic Guitar " in english)

Ok, The large difference, between an electric and an acoustic guitar is only, the shape.

Anyway, an acoustic guitar has an empty box that amplifies the sound that you play on the fretboard

The neck of an acoustic guitar is wider that the one of an electric guitar

An electric guitar, hasn't that empty box, it has microphones, with small magnets, that pick up the sound produced by the vibrations of the strings

when you play, and that sound is converted and so on, a lot of steps, ... and that sound goes by your jack, and is finnaly amplified by

an external electronic amplifier! The neck is not as wider as the one of an acoustic guitar.

Ok now, ways to play. they are a bit similar, or should i rather say, it depends on which kind of music you wanna play man

if you wanna play metal, actually, go for Electric Guitars and buy a pedal + an amplifier. Tell me which kind of music you wanna play

and i'll tell you if you need an acoustic or an electric man because, Electric guitars are mostly used nowadays, whatever is your style

but some people still like acoustic guitars.

If you are a beginner, i'll recommand you to start with an Acoustic Guitar, to learn the basics of guitar and the way of playing it before you go for any style u like

Electric Guitar is somehow, easier to play when you've experienced acoustic g.

And always remember, whatever you play on acoustic, you can play it on electric, but its not reversible

if you wanna play rock/metal for example, it asks some technics that u can't play on acoustic (Power Chords for example)

elementary chords and bar chords are the same, on acoustic, on electric

also, some songs sounds better on acoustic guitars, some others sound better on electric guitars

Courage

(I played acoustic guitar for 2 years b4 i've started electric guitar ;) and i sold my acoustic. Now i own an Electric Guitar but still, i can help you if both of'em)

Oui mais faut pas me prendre au mot non plus !

Le Power Chord sur une guitare acoustique je dit pas que c'est impossible je trouve juste que, C'est Inutile !

Actually, you can play simple songs on your Electric Guitar

Electric Guitar is not only for Rock Music, but it might also depend on which Electric Guitar you have

Smooth music is playable on both of them

BTW (By The Way), tell me, which guitar do you have? what is the brand? (the complete name if you can)

Non, pas du tout, on peut tout faire sur une acoustique,et il y a des chansons qui utilisent les accords de 5ème dans le répertoire pop-rock folk et j'en passe.
